STEP 1

COMPLIMENTARY EVALUATION

Medical and Dental history

Your initial, complimentary evaluation at Done In One Palm Beach will include 3D radiographic imaging with one of the most advanced CBCTs on the market. After obtaining your medical and dental history, Dr. Noorthoek, a board certified periodontist, will perform a concise periodontal examination to ensure your candidacy for dental implants. Afterwards, we’ll discuss your treatment goals, present all of your clinical options, and go over the pros and cons of each. If you’re ready to move forward, a small deposit can be collected to secure a records appointment and procedure date. No pressure though – we understand that this is a big decision and we encourage you to think it over and contact us with any questions or if you’d like to proceed.

RECORDS

Designing your New Smile

Your records appointment will consist of planning your case, reviewing and signing all consent forms, reviewing all medications you’ll be prescribed, and digital scans of your current dentition. Together we will plan the design of your new smile, including the shape, style, and shade of your new teeth. Payment is finalized and records are sent to our lab to begin preparations.

PROCEDURE

Placing your New Dental Implants

Once you’ve arrived for the Done In One procedure, you will be sedated and comfortably numbed. Dr. Noorthoek will remove all remaining dentition (if needed), place your dental implants, and begin the digital  restorative phase. Afterwards, an x-ray is taken to record the precise placement of your implants. This entire process usually takes around 3 hours from start to finish. Before being discharged, you will be given thoroughly written aftercare instructions detailing exactly what to expect and how to navigate all things postoperative.

TRY-IN

Testing out your New Smile

The very next day, you will return for a postoperative checkup. We will examine all the implant sites and sutures to reconfirm that everything is healing nicely. In order to ensure that you are 100% happy with the look, feel, and function of your new smile, we will deliver a 3D printed replica of your new custom-designed teeth – not a converted denture. These teeth will be screwed in and are not removable by the patient. We will make any adjustments necessary and perform another set of digital scans with your new teeth in place. If you would like any aesthetic changes, we will send those requests to our master designers and deliver your redesigned try-in the following day. If you love everything just the way it is, we will begin the process of replicating the design in stunning zirconia. This entire visit typically takes less than an hour.

ZIRCONIA DELIVERY

Presenting your New Forever Smile

After 3-4 days from your approval of the design, we will replace your printed try-ins with your meticulously crafted permanent zirconia teeth. Dr. Noorthoek will perform one final checkup to make sure your healing is optimal and address any concerns you have. This delivery of your final zirconia restoration will initiate your 5-year hassle-free Done In One warranty, which covers both implants and your new zirconia teeth. You will receive a custom-made night guard and be given thoroughly detailed written instructions on how to care for your new teeth over the next 90 days. Patients are prescribed a 90-day soft diet while you heal and you will also receive thoroughly detailed written dietary recommendations and limitations. This visit typically takes less than an hour.

90-DAY FOLLOW UP

Confirming Implant Integration

After a 90-day healing phase, you will return for a routine follow-up where we will reconfirm that everything is perfect. Another x-ray will be taken to verify that your implants have fully integrated. This will typically conclude the need for a soft food diet and most patients are free to return to eating normally. The Done In One process is complete and the future is yours to define!

1-YEAR EVALUATION & ANNUAL RECARE

Routine Cleaning & Maintenance

One year from the delivery of your zirconia teeth, patients are encouraged to return for a hygiene evaluation. Based on this evaluation, Dr. Noorthoek will recommend an individualized recare schedule appropriate for each patient. Fixed bridge(s) must be removed for routine maintenance and professional cleaning at least once each year to maintain the Done In One warranty, though patients may be encouraged to return more frequently if home care is found to be inadequate. Recare appointments are $200 per arch per visit and include the following:

✓ CBCT imaging to check for any bone loss and evaluate implant stability (every 12 months)

✓ Removal and cleaning/polishing of Done In One bridges in an Ultrasonic

✓ Hygienic examination and cleaning of implant sites

✓ Tightening of multi-unit abutments

✓ Replacement of prosthetic screws (after every 3 removals) and proper torque

✓ Replacement of aesthetic access hole coverings

✓ Patient status discussion and recommendations

STEP 7

Certain visits can be combined for out-of-town patients or those in need. Additional try-ins can require additional visits. Length of appointment times are estimated and can vary from case to case.

Done In One Implant Centers are independently owned and operated within a network of dental practices managed by licensed dentists. The American Dental Association does not recognize any specialty field specifically for dental implant treatment. Done In One providers are proficient in both implant placement and restorative dentistry and may consist of general dentists, prosthodontists, oral surgeons, and periodontists. The Done In One procedure refers to a procedure consisting of extractions (if needed), bone reduction, implant placement, and a permanent (zirconia) implant-supported prosthesis placed on either arch (upper or lower) or both. Done In One specializes in the immediate occlusal-loading protocol, which is defined as an implant-supported restoration in occlusal contact within two (2) weeks of the implant insertion. The Done In One procedure can be offered to qualified patients based on a full examination, radiographs, and initial workup. Not all patients will qualify. In most cases, qualified patients that do not need additional sinus augmentation can have the Done In One procedure completed and typically receive a final zirconia prosthesis within one week after extractions. Patients will receive a provisional prosthesis within 24 hours after surgery that will allow them functionality until their final zirconia prosthesis is fabricated. Results and timeframes of the delivery of a final prosthesis will vary on a case-by-case basis. Done In One exclusively utilizes an implant system that is appropriately registered, listed, and has a 510(k) clearance from the FDA. After many years of clinical studies and evaluations, the success rate of modern dental implants installed by qualified clinicians has been estimated at over 90% after 10 years. With proper hygiene and routine maintenance, the Done In One procedure can provide patients with dental implants that can last decades and potentially a lifetime. The average lifespan of the prostheses will vary depending on patient wear but is covered under a standard warranty for the first two (2) years from the date of surgery, as long as annual recare requirements are met. An optional extended, indefinite warranty is available and can be paid monthly or annually.

Studies show that patients treated with implant-supported prostheses judge their overall psychological health as improved by 80%—due to increased longevity, improved function, and increased bone preservation—over the wearing of traditional dentures. Studies also conclude that the replacement of decaying teeth that are prone to infection with an implant-supported prosthesis will typically result in the improvement of a patient’s overall physical health. Results may vary.

Loans are subject to eligibility, underwriting, and approval, including credit approval. Eligibility is determined through a pre-qualify application (“soft pull”) with no impact to the applicant’s credit score; not all individuals will qualify. Only upon accepting an offer and agreeing to the credit authorization disclosure will a hard inquiry (“hard pull”) be initiated and a FICO score potentially be affected.

Loan amounts vary between $750 and $40,000, depending on creditworthiness, and require no down payment. The offered APR will vary between 3.99% and 35.99% based upon creditworthiness, loan amounts, and term length. Approved borrowers can choose between a longer Installment Loan (12-144 months) or a shorter Interest Promotion (6-12 months), with no interest paid if the loan is settled within the promotional window chosen.
