NEW Jacksonville Office – Schedule Your Consultation Today
20 OCT 2025
Dr. Dan and Erica break down how a true “lifetime warranty” can work in full-arch care—what it covers, what it requires from patients, and how it improves long-term outcomes. They explain why warranties are a two-way commitment: regular maintenance and clear communication from patients, plus predictable systems, records, and repairs from the clinical team. The conversation focuses on practicals—eligibility, annual check-ins, reasonable exclusions, and what happens if something chips, loosens, or needs a remake—so patients know exactly how to succeed with their new teeth.

Hello and welcome to another episode of Beyond the Arches. I'm your host, Dr. Daniel Noorthoek, and with me today is Erica.
Hey everyone.
We're going to talk today about something that's come up a lot in consultations lately and that is the lifetime warranty—what's in it, what it means, and why we do it this way. I get this question at least three times a week from patients who are comparing practices out there. So I thought we’d break it down and explain in detail.
So Erica is the quarterback on our warranty program, so I’ve got her here to help answer everything. So first thing: most dental offices have some kind of guarantee. Sometimes it's three years, sometimes it's five. Rarely is it truly lifetime. Ours is a genuine lifetime warranty and we're probably the only office in the whole country, probably the world, that does it this way for full arch.
I get that question a lot: is this really lifetime? What’s covered? So let’s spell out exactly what’s included.
First—and we say this in every consult—you have to be compliant. You need to come in once a year and get a cleaning. It doesn’t have to be here, but it does need to be with a local provider. We’ll accept their records. That’s so we know you’re taking good care of your teeth.
Exactly, that's the big difference—yearly maintenance keeps your arch healthy. Some people go to Mexico, some overseas. Just bring us your cleaning records, and your warranty stays valid.
Our warranty covers chips, cracks, accidental breaks, any kind of lab work adjustment, shade tweaks of teeth or gums, repairs, panoramic x-rays, periapical x-rays, everything. If we advise a remake for clinical reasons, that’s covered too. But not for a cosmetic change a decade later unless there’s a true medical need.
That’s important—patients sometimes want a refresh years down the road, just for “something new,” but the warranty’s for medical reasons only.
Exactly. The lifetime warranty is a relationship. We keep each other responsible. Miss your cleaning? Your coverage lapses—but you can always true up by coming in and get back on track.
Some offices just offer a guarantee on their prosthesis—like a manufacturer guarantees steel mugs, unlimited replacements if you break it. But that doesn’t work in dentistry, because biology is complicated. We want patients to do their part, too.
So our warranty started as five years, but patients had issues with cleanings—many local dentists don't want to touch our full arch work. Sometimes they wouldn’t send records. We ended up fixing things regardless to make people happy. So we evolved—added more coverage, made it more robust, and now we’re confident in our true lifetime warranty.
So what do patients pay? It’s $59/month or $700/year for the program. Some promotions run for Facebook patients offer bonus months, et cetera.
And yearly maintenance is vital; just like a car needs oil changes, your teeth need annual checkups. It allows us to catch problems before they start.
Most prostheses don’t need lots of out-of-mouth checkups, but that yearly visit is key—tighten screws, check parts, refresh hygiene, keep everything top-notch.
We even offer discounted cosmetic refreshes if you want all-new teeth years later. If you got your implants elsewhere but want our program, we’ll include you after a health check.
Aesthetic choices are one-time—unlimited try-ins until you’re happy. Remakes after delivery are only covered if medically required; not just because you want a new look five years later.
If you break an arch, even in a freak accident, you’re covered. Our digital records let us remake your prosthesis quickly, so no major downtime.
Our intention is net-neutral—it’s not a profit scheme. We want patients protected and our business sustainable for everyone’s peace of mind.
About 90% of patients choose the lifetime warranty. Most stay because of peace of mind, flexibility, and support wherever they go.
So: come in yearly, get your cleaning, and you’re covered for life. Reach out with any questions—even after the episode, we’re here for you!
Thanks, everyone, for trusting us and being part of the Done In One community. We’re always here to help keep your smile healthy and strong.
Thanks for listening!

Done In One Implant Centers are independently owned and operated within a network of dental practices managed by licensed dentists. The American Dental Association does not recognize any specialty field specifically for dental implant treatment. Done In One providers are proficient in both implant placement and restorative dentistry and may consist of general dentists, prosthodontists, oral surgeons, and periodontists. The Done In One procedure refers to a procedure consisting of extractions (if needed), bone reduction, implant placement, and a permanent (zirconia) implant-supported prosthesis placed on either arch (upper or lower) or both. Done In One specializes in the immediate occlusal-loading protocol, which is defined as an implant-supported restoration in occlusal contact within two (2) weeks of the implant insertion. The Done In One procedure can be offered to qualified patients based on a full examination, radiographs, and initial workup. Not all patients will qualify. In most cases, qualified patients that do not need additional sinus augmentation can have the Done In One procedure completed and typically receive a final zirconia prosthesis within one week after extractions. Patients will receive a provisional prosthesis within 24 hours after surgery that will allow them functionality until their final zirconia prosthesis is fabricated. Results and timeframes of the delivery of a final prosthesis will vary on a case-by-case basis. Done In One exclusively utilizes an implant system that is appropriately registered, listed, and has a 510(k) clearance from the FDA. After many years of clinical studies and evaluations, the success rate of modern dental implants installed by qualified clinicians has been estimated at over 90% after 10 years. With proper hygiene and routine maintenance, the Done In One procedure can provide patients with dental implants that can last decades and potentially a lifetime. The average lifespan of the prostheses will vary depending on patient wear but is covered under a standard warranty for the first two (2) years from the date of surgery, as long as annual recare requirements are met. An optional extended, indefinite warranty is available and can be paid monthly or annually.
Studies show that patients treated with implant-supported prostheses judge their overall psychological health as improved by 80%—due to increased longevity, improved function, and increased bone preservation—over the wearing of traditional dentures. Studies also conclude that the replacement of decaying teeth that are prone to infection with an implant-supported prosthesis will typically result in the improvement of a patient’s overall physical health. Results may vary.
